Amsterdam UMC

I am a postdoctoral researcher at Amsterdam UMC in the KIK department, where I work in collaboration with Ameen Abu-Hanna and Giovanni Cina. My current research focuses on sequential decision-making and causal inference.

I hold a Ph.D. in Statistics, completed under the supervision of Stanley Durrleman and Sophie Tezenas Du Montcel within the INRIA (ARAMIS team) and supported by the PRAIRIE institute. During my doctoral research, I developed statistical methods for the joint modelling of longitudinal outcomes and censoring events, including new approach in this area.
I then completed a first postdoctoral position in collaboration with Marie-Abèle Bind (Harvard Medical School and MGH Biostatistics) and Young Lee (Singapore University of Technology and Design), where I studied causal questions arising in longitudinal data truncated by death.

While my primary interest lies in methodological research, I place strong emphasis on ensuring that new methods are motivated by and useful for real clinical questions.
